Snorkeling

Aruba is a snorkelers delight. With excellent visibility, the waters around Aruba are perfect for snorkeling. Many of the most popular sites, including some interesting shipwrecks, are found in shallow waters. Coral reefs covered with waving sea fans and giant sponge tubes attract a colorful collection of sea life, including octopuses, sea turtles, manta rays and tropical fish.

Scuba Diving

If you are or want to be a diver, Aruba is famous for some of the best diving in the world. There are 42 major dive sites which provide an amazing variety of underwater activity.There are several spectacular shipwrecks including the 400 foot Antilla wreck - the largest wreck in the Caribbean.

Most of Aruba's dive sites lie along the protected western and southern coasts, a short distance from the hotels on Palm Beach.

Windsurfing & Kitesurfing

Aruba is a haven for wind & kite surfers. It offers crystal-clear water that rarely drops below 75 degrees F and consistent winds that average more than 20 knots year-round. The Highwinds competition is hosted in Aruba annually.

Parasailing

Imagine soaring up to 600 ft above the ocean in a boat towed parachute! Parasailing is an exhilarating and unforgettable experience for all members of the family.

Jet Ski /Wave Runner Rentals

Aruba is a virtual playground for water activities of all kind. Jet skis are a great activity for the entire family. With warm, calm, clear waters, Aruba is the perfect place to jet ski! They can be rented at most beaches, hotels or watersport centers.

Banana Boats/Tubes

Enjoy a ride on a Banana boat or tubes where you can see Aruba's beautiful beaches while riding across the waves. This is a great family adventure. Just don't expect to stay dry. They can be rented at any of the local watersports centers or from local boat operators.

Sailing Tours

Aruba offers a wide variety of cruise options. From full or half day cruises, snorkeling cruises, sunset cruises, moonlight cruises, dinner cruises, or dance party cruises, the choice is yours. 

Sport /Deep Sea Fishing

In the temperate waters around Aruba, a variety of Atlantic game fish can be caught year-round. Sailfish, white and blue marlin, wahoo, shark, barracuda, amberjack, kingfish, bonito, and blackfin and yellowfin tuna are abundant. 

Most charter fishing boats operate from Seaport Marina, across from the Aruba Renaissance Hotel in Oranjestad.

Swimming

The beaches on the southern, leeward coast have soft, sparkling white sand. The clear, calm, turquoise waters of Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Druif Beach, Baby Beach and Rodgers Beach are safe to swim in any time of day, any day of the year. There are also several hidden little bays around the island, as well as the Conchi, or natural pool, near Arikok. In general, however, the Atlantic side of the island is wild and often treacherous.

Golf

In addition to everything else Aruba has to offer, Golf adds another compelling reason to visit. Take your choice of the following courses;

Tierra del Sol

A five minute drive from the Aruba Dream House is Aruba's first world-class golf course. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. It's unique and rugged natural surroundings into a championship level course.

After a round of golf, you can relax at the clubhouse which includes a pro shop, locker rooms, and a 4 star restaurant with a panoramic view.

The Links at Divi Aruba

Aruba's newest golf course, The "Links" is a tropically landscaped 9 hole golf course at the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, The course features 2 par 5 holes, 2 par 3 holes, and 5 par 4 holes. Amenities include a clubhouse with two restaurants and a golf training facility with video swing analysis.

The course is open to the public with preferred tee times for Divi Resort guests and members, and offers professional golf instruction for both individuals and groups.

Tennis

Most hotels and all-inclusive resorts in Aruba have tennis courts on-site. While guests receive top priority, visitors can arrange to play at most of these courts. As an added bonus, most are lit for night games. Many courts have recently been set up for Pickleball.

Horseback Riding

Interested in horseback riding? Aruba's varying topography offers a variety of exotic locations for both experienced and beginner horseback riders. From sand dunes to arrid plains that will make you feel like your in the Old West. Alternatively, you can travel up the Arikok Hills to enjoy a panoramic view of the island, and visit the natural pool for a dip. Several ranches offer horseback tours and adventures:

Bicycle Riding

Aruba is just small enough to allow for cycling enthusiasts to enjoy this desert island's exotic terrain. Because some of the roads throughout the island are sandy, a mountain bike is the way to go. The terrain is mainly flat so you won't get exhausted peddling up steep hills, but heading into the wind is a challenge, and the sun is intense at midday.

The weather is generally hot and sunny, but cyclists will appreciate Aruba's cooling trade winds. Nevertheless, it is always advised to go armed with plenty of sunscreen, water and a hat to battle the elements. The most scenic roads trace the northern coast. They're not paved, so bring a bandana to cover your mouth against the dust.

Bicycles can be rented at various locations on the island.

One of the best ways to see the many scenic and historic site in Aruba is with a jeep or bus tour. Looking for Off Road adventure? - Jeeps are for you. More sedate Town and Country tours are provided by air-conditioned buses.

ATV's & UTV's

Want to see all of Aruba up close and personal? ATV's & UTV's are a great way to travel anywhere on the island. Guided tours or individual rental are available. ATV's can be rented near the high-rise hotels 

Sightseeing

Aruba has so many things to do and places to see that you will want to come back several times. There are sailing cruises, dinner cruises, helicopter tours, archaelogical tours, the Ostrich farm, Donkey Sanctuary, Phillips Animal Garden, historical ruins, the Butterfly farm and ship wrecks.

Shopping

Aruba has many choices when it comes to shopping. Large open air malls such as Reinaissance Mall, & Paseo Horencia,  Flea Markets for souvenirs, local artisans, specialty shops, kiosks and more......

Dining

There is something for everyone. From a casual snack, fresh fish off of the boat to 5 star dining Aruba offers too many options to mention. Most of Aruba's restaurants are family friendly. Reservations are recommended for larger parties and during high season and holidays.

Casinos

You can find a casino in most high rise hotels in the Palm Beach area, and in several locations in the low rise/ Eagle Beach area & downtown.

Night life

Fun for all ages. There is no shortage of night life in Aruba. Beach bars & restaurants, night clubs & lounges, piano bars & sports bars. Live entertainment, & local DJs. There is a party with your name on it!
